Working with collaborator Anna Banaszak, we created the main event graphics for AIGA Chicago’s 2018 Award Ceremony. While only intially responsible for the Nomations graphic, we were asked to expand upon our first image to create visuals for the entire event.
We took inspiration from high school prom sets in 80s films, and styled the set with monochromatic props and lots and lots of sparkles. The graphics rely heavily on stylized tongue-in-cheek photography to offset the strong, serious typography.
